This antique 9ct rose gold Double Albert watch chain features individually hallmarked curb links, an original T-bar and a matching dog clip. Dating to approximately 1895, it is a fine example of a traditional antique pocket watch chain and can also be worn doubled around the wrist as a distinctive gold bracelet.
The chain has two lengths of curb link chain running between the T-bar and dog clip, forming the traditional Double Albert design. Its warm rose gold colour, substantial weight and extensive hallmarking make it an especially attractive piece for collectors of antique gold jewellery.
