Yes. Lab grown emeralds have the same chemistry and colour as mined emeralds. The only difference is that they're grown in a lab instead of mined.

Will the gold plating wear off?
The yellow gold is plated over solid sterling silver. With care it lasts well, but all plating gradually softens over time. Take them off for swimming, showering and sleeping, and keep them away from perfume.
