This peridot engagement ring in 9ct yellow gold is set with an oval natural peridot at the centre, with two lab-grown diamonds on each side. The ring is fully hallmarked by the Edinburgh Assay Office with our sponsor’s mark MH.

Peridot is the August birthstone and is often linked with renewal, harmony, and prosperity. Its green colour stands out against the bright white diamonds. This is a classic three stone ring style, suitable as an engagement ring or a special gift.

Product Insights

Is peridot a birthstone?
Yes, peridot is the official birthstone for August. It has been valued since ancient times for its bright green colour, which symbolises warmth and growth. Many people choose a peridot birthstone ring as a birthday or anniversary gift.

Is peridot an expensive gemstone?
Peridot is one of the more affordable gemstones compared with emeralds or sapphires. High-quality peridot with vivid green colour and good clarity can still be valuable, especially in larger carat sizes, but overall it offers excellent value for fine jewellery.

Can I wear a peridot ring every day?
Yes, peridot can be worn daily. It measures 6.5–7 on the Mohs hardness scale, which makes it durable enough for regular use. To keep it in good condition, avoid harsh chemicals and sudden temperature changes, and clean gently with warm soapy water.

Which finger should I wear a peridot ring on?
A peridot ring can be worn on any finger. As an engagement ring, it is often placed on the left hand ring finger. As a birthstone ring, many wear it on the right hand as a symbol of individuality and style.

Who should wear peridot?
Peridot is suitable for anyone who loves its bright green colour or was born in August. It is also thought to bring good fortune and positivity. Whether worn as an engagement ring, a birthstone piece, or a simple natural peridot ring, it makes a personal and symbolic choice.
