      Product Insights

What does the scarab beetle symbolise in jewellery?
The scarab beetle is an ancient symbol of protection, transformation, and renewal. In Egyptian culture, it represented the rising sun and eternal life. Wearing a scarab pendant is believed to attract strength, resilience and good fortune—especially when set in gold.

Is this pendant solid 18ct gold and hallmarked?
Yes, the scarab pendant is custom-made in solid 18ct yellow gold and weighs around 9.4g. It’s fully hallmarked by the British Assay Office, including your maker's mark, verifying both the gold purity and authenticity.

Is the gemstone a real ruby?
The pendant is set with a brilliant round-cut lab-grown ruby. These are real rubies with identical properties to natural stones—vibrant in colour, durable, and ethically created. They're an excellent choice for striking, responsible jewellery.
